RTT®Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t find your answer here, please get in touch info@rttwithdina.co.uk

  • How does RTT® hypnosis work?

RTT® Hypnotherapy is a pioneering therapy based on neuroscience, that offers fast, effective results.

When in a state of hypnosis, you are working with the Alpha brain waves that are the same as when you’re in REM (just before sleep). Alpha brain waves are present when your brain is in an idling default-state typically created when you're daydreaming or consciously practicing mindfulness or meditation. That’s what allows you to access the subconscious mind.

By rapidly rewiring the neural pathways of the brain, RTT® replaces outdated belief systems and negative patterns of behaviour.

  • Can I get “stuck” in hypnosis?

No!! You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even open your eyes and get up and leave. If our call gets disconnected you may drift into sleep if you’re really relaxed, but eventually you’ll notice that you’re not hearing my voice and open your eyes.

  • What does it feel like to be hypnotised?

The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some feel a similar sensation to being in meditation, some may feel sleepy. Most people say they feel very relaxed, at ease and peaceful. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like - it’s working.

  • What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?

What makes RTT® amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in a COMPLETELY new way.

That’s what allows you to change the meaning and ultimately, change your beliefs.

And for many clients they go back to scenes that are totally different than what they expected. Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.

  • What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?

If you go back to scenes from your life that were traumatic, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and that you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal - you’ll be OK.

  • When will I start to see changes?

There are 3 types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy® - every person is different:

Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away - immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session.

Accumulative: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.

Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away, then one day you suddenly look back and see all the things that are different in your life.

  • Why is RTT® more expensive that hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is carried out under hypnosis, and it can cover a wide range of practices.

Through hypnosis, the therapist gains access to the subconscious mind and then, using suggestion and convincers, the therapist aims to make long-lasting change. Typically, this can take between 6-10 sessions.

RTT® is different from standard hypnotherapy, it is a unique method like no other. The sessions themselves are longer and you will only require a maximum of 3 sessions.

  • Do you offer additional support upon completion of RTT® ?

Most want to keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life. As part of my packages of support I include mindfulness coaching to support the integration of your new beliefs and to build new habits and behaviours.

  • How do I know this will work for me and my situation?

Before we work together we can have a conversation over zoom or by phone call.

This call is free and is an opportunity to get to know me, ask any questions about your particular situation or the RTT® therapy and see if it feels like a good fit for us to work together.
